This was a great experience. We’ve never stayed in a yurt before, but it was really cool and we will absolutely come back! The location was relaxing and peaceful.

No regrets about staying in the yurt. The space was clean, comfortable and very cozy. The lot is so peaceful, private and has a nice fire pit for evening bonfires. There is also a grill available. The bathroom is located outside of the yurt; short walk to access in the pole barn. The location is close to downtown and convenient. This is such a gem of a place and would highly recommend.

The yurt was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. Loved the fire pit and the fact that there was a fridge and toaster oven. It’s a perfect location close to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Great spot in the upper peninsula right outside the Pictured Rocks. A few minutes to Sable Falls and a few more to the Log Point Overlook. I could hear the waves of the lake at night. We were too tired to use the fie pit but will next time. Bathrooms not being connected were a non issue and the heater kept us warm

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while making our first trip up to Pictured Rocks. The Yurt is a nice, unique space that the hosts have clearly put some time and thought into making sure it’s considered much more special than camping in a tent. The space felt private and tidy. While not impenetrable to a few bugs here and there, it was not a big issue and is to be expected in the area the space is in. We were able to utilize the personal gas grill, as well as the fire pit, which both added to the experience of being far from the city. Having access to a modern-style bathroom and shower was great as well! The hosts were friendly and responsive if needed, though pretty much everything one would need to find is easily available either in the yurt or in their pole barn. Grand Marais is a quiet little town, but certainly charming in its own right. If we return to Grand Marais or Pictured Rocks, we would gladly stay again.
