Sharine is a superb homeowner and her home is a nice cosy place full of interesting books and objects. I really felt at home. She was always available and answered all my messages as soon as possible. Thank you again Sharine...
It was just a couple of weeks but I couldn’t choose a better place to stay. The apartment is just like the pictures, clean, cozy and well lit. You can tell that Sharine is taking care of the place, from the plants, to the furniture, to the nice scents of flowers. The neighbourhood is a pearl: green and peaceful, with many expats, still you wouldn’t feel uprooted from the Egyptian vibes. Sharine is special, always helpful, her tips can make your day easier and unforgettable. She would respect my privacy and at the same time she made me feel a part of the “family”, I really appreciated it. I would definitely love to stay there again.
My stay at Sharine’s was great. The check-in/out went so smooth. Sharine is very helpful and friendly and most of all very clean. I’ll stay again and again at Sharine’s. Definitely recommended.
I booked 4 days at Sharine's house, but in the end I had a week left. It was easy to check in and she was always attentive to anything I needed, she sent me important information about places that she usually frequents in Maadi and I loved them. The neighborhood is very safe and the house is very clean.
Sharine's place made us feel at home. We spent 3 weeks there and it's like you're in a bubble isolated from the chaos of the city but at the same time close to everything. We'll be back very soon, shoukran Sharine!

自我介绍
There is a huge difference between a traveler and a tourist. Do you know the difference and which one are you? Born in New York City to an American Italian mother and Egyptian father. Live between New York City and Cairo, and currently residing in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. I can't even list the number of cities I've been. Travel is one of my greatest passions. I graduated from California Institute of the Arts with a Masters in Fine Arts in Film Directing 2017. One of my first milestones in my career was winning the Student Visionary Award at TriBeCa Film Festival 2019 for my thesis film 'Jebel Banat'. My next short film 'Have A Nice Day' is in distribution. Starting January 2022 I became the legal guardian to my little 4-year-old niece. Of course it took me some time to adapt to my new life as a single full time parent - all of a sudden - without being prepared. She is very lovely and well behaved. She goes to daycare on weekdays from 7am to 5pm - and she sleeps before 8pm. I work during the day as well, sometimes out or from home. I'm grateful to be part of a like minded group and community of cool co-creatives who meet up from time to time to celebrate life here in Maadi. I'm always happy to introduce my circle of friends and share places only locals would know of, with my guests, if they are interested, and if our time permits. I consider myself very fortunate to have hosted great guests from all around the world who visit Cairo on a creative quest and mission. Hosting is not just a means to an end or for making some extra cash. Most importantly, it's to cross paths with fine fellow creative humans and have an experience.
