The house was even more beautiful than the photos show and the town of Penn Yan is beautiful and peaceful!

We had a great stay at Brian’s place. The home was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished for a large group of people to stay comfortably. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, eating on the beautiful screened in porch, and sitting by the fire at night. The house was conveniently located - we were able to easily explore Watkins Glen and many different wineries. Check-in/out was easy and Brian was very communicative. Would definitely stay here again!

Had an excellent stay at Lakeside Escape! The location on the lake was perfect, it was close to town, but still felt secluded. The house was in great condition and there was plenty of space for everyone. Brian, the host, was very helpful leading up to the stay and the instructions in the house were very clear and easy to follow. Each guest in our group loved their time there!

This house had everything to accommodate our extended family of 12. There is plenty of family space and alone space. The location was very convenient to the quaint village of Penn Yan. The bonus areas include a large screen porch and fully equipped game room. The kitchen was very well equipped including a coffee bar, large fridge and wine area. The house was ready upon arrival, very clean and organized. Pluses not found in other comparable houses in the area include: 1. accessible beach with extra big dock, shallow entry for young swimmers and tons of lake toys/kayaks 2. beautiful fire pit area and outdoor dining patio, 3. large level driveway which we used to play regulation pickleball (it also proved to be a safe place for kids to scooter) 4. bunk room for 5-6 children We did not feel like this was a typical rental. We felt like the owner placed top priority on offering a special family experience. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent time this past week. The house is great, the location was perfect. The new dock was a necessity with the boat, was very easy to come in and out with the kids. The boat house was full of kayaks and paddle board which we all put to good use. The dock and beach area were a great, safe place to swim with the kids. We were able to use the Keuka Trail, visited Watkins Glen and made it to the Spotted Duck for ice cream. The lake was beautiful and convenient with the boat launch and grocery stores right near by. Both kids and adults won’t forget this vacation. Had a blast. We would love to come back:)
