Vidal is an extremely kind and attentive host, a rare gem. Though Spanish is his first language, his English is excellent. He is also very attentive. Communication was a breeze. He understands that different people have different needs and goes out of his way to ensure you're happy. This house is privately nestled in the jungle but the property is kept clean. So you have the perfect combination of nature and access. Finding such a clean, cozy home with so much privacy and these types of amenities can be quite the challenge in Costa Rica - especially at this price point. But Vidal's house has everything you need for a short or a long stay. We saw all sorts of beautiful birds, flowers, butterflies, monkeys and more during our stay. The long driveway offers seclusion from the road below and makes for a wonderful morning walk. (Though you will definitely want a car to explore the local areas, beaches, etc.) I highly recommend staying at Vidal's Casa Tranquila. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately the largest negative outweighed the whole experience. An unused electrical outlet unexpectedly caught on fire. Thankfully we were home to notice it. There were other electrical outlets that looked to be melted and unusable when we first arrived. Use of one particular outlet also cut out power to half the house. While Raul was responsive, we had to vacate the home for at least two days for repairs but were not comfortable returning. afterwards. The car that is listed for rent in the ad is not available. Otherwise, the location was beautiful and quiet.

Beautiful house nestled in the mountain, surrounded by nature. On the owner's family farm, above the road which makes this location very private. Fast internet, hot water, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. For the nature lovers who like tranquility and privacy, this is a perfect choice. It feels just like home for me and I look forward to returning again soon.

Das Haus liegt mitten im Dschungel auf einem Berg.Wir waren eins mit der Natur und man hört wunderschöne Naturklänge.Die Anfahrt ist etwas schwierig aber der Gastgeber hat an der Bushaltestelle auf uns gewartet und uns dann zum Haus begleitet.Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.Vidal hat bei allem geholfen und war ein wunderbarer Gastgeber.Wir waren 10 Tage dort und würden beim nächsten Costa Rica Besuch sofort wieder bei Vidal buchen.Tolle Zeit in einem wunderschönen Haus Vielen Dank für alles Pura Vida
