It was ideal for a large family Christmas gathering. We were 8 adults and 2 young teens and between the billiard room and the table tennis and table soccer, they were well entertained! A local forest walk nearby to walk off the big dinners.

The host was nice, responsive and very helpful. The house is huge and the full family enjoyed time together playing games or reading around the fireplace. The house located 30/40 minutes from Galway allowed us to explore the Connemara, Croagh Patrick as well as the cliff of Moher, even if some drive is needed when the roads get smaller.

We had a great experience staying at this beautiful home! If you want an authentic Irish experience stay here! It’s the perfect place if you want the country side but also close enough to catch a train into Galway for the city life! And close to towns for food and pubs. You will need to rent a car staying here. Kieran was wonderful and was great to communicate with.

The house seems really cool from the outside. Inside, the house needs a lot of work. It has the potential to be a really cool listing but first needs major TLC. We did not end up staying as we did not feel comfortable.

Very nice stay. Old school house with a cool vibe about it. Pool Table and ping pong add a bit of extra fun. lots of space and really cozy and warm. Brilliant host very very help and super friendly and nice.
