We got to the place, and wasn’t aware that the way to get inside was through garage. The key code was not given for that. It was about 45 minutes waiting. There were no clear instructions as to what is expected upon checkout. While it may sleep 8, one couple was in the “garage” room. The other 2 would have to sleep in the loft, and if people are watching tv in the den, wouldn’t be able to sleep. Speaking of tv, there was cable provided and we were able to use our own Netflix account, could not log out their prime tv. There were no direct directions to the pool. The pool was quite nice. Everything was clean when we went. The beach access was minimal and if you go for a holiday weekend, be prepared for crowds. While Grayton Beach was nearby we got there at 9:00 am and it was already full. There are some restaurants walking distance and we enjoyed Redd’s - it was quite good. The bikes have no speeds and are cruisers. The dining area is quite narrow. Fits 6 (4 on one table, and then 2).

La reserva fue muy buena, todo limpio y organizado, solo que nunca me respondieron para poder usar el internet. Sugiero incluyan el carro golf en la reserva . Muchas gracias

No communication from Southern rentals for the entire stay apart from cut and paste responses with the same message "Welcome etc ...." Southern Hospitality branding and advertising. When contacted by phone equally unprofessional. For some reason the security code had changed during our stay which meant we were locked out and no assistance could be given to allow us access, interestingly when we then found a side door open at this point there seemed to be a lot of interest which was " you cannot leave a side door unlocked!" Blocked toilet, synthetic sheets, but overall the house is as the pictures show and lovely, the location is great. Just not worth paying for this kind of experience with management, the worst.

Toilet was blocked on arrival . Synthetic sheets. No communication. Unable to provide the most simple answers to questions like how to use the coffee machine or dishwasher . Couldn’t extend the stay ( waited 5 days for a pending request ) to earlier 4 days without making a new booking including a cleaning fee they never performed with the added booking. Tried to shorten the second booking because of my sisters unexpected death while in hospital who was being visited . Their entire way of handling with horrible. Completely unbelievable.

Blue Mountain Beach was everything Southern Vacation Rentals promised. Our rental was a beautiful home, in pristine condition, and very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed forever. Southern is now our first choice for a rental agency.
