自我介绍

Hello future friends! We are the Hock Family. We have 5 young children that bring us joy beyond words. When our 3rd child (AJ) was diagnosed with brain cancer, it was difficult to find housing for our big family. We were flipping houses at the time and decided why not give Airbnb hosting a try. After things settled down from treatment, we opened our first Airbnb just minutes from Duke where AJ had his brain surgery to provide a comfortable home for those coming for treatments. I was born in Hawaii, raised in Southern California, then backpacked Europe a couple times before marrying the love of my life and living in WA, UT, NV, CA, and Mexico. We moved from the bay area of California in 2011 thinking we would go on a couple year adventure living back Easy... and have absolutely fallen in love with NC and I'm sure you will too! We have no plans of going anywhere else! BTW- AJ is healthy and Happy and a miracle in our lives! We look forward to getting to know you! We look forward to getting to know you!
