We come to La Quinta often and we love staying at the villas. We’ve stayed at different units every time (based on availability) and it’s always pretty perfect. This unit was fun because you had the view of the pool plus the mountains from the patio. They also have a hummingbird feeder in the corner, and it’s so peaceful and beautiful watching them come to feed. The unit itself is fully stocked with anything you could need. We stayed a week and we never reached out to the host for anything at all, it was all there plus plenty of resupply. The pools are one of the best features. We go pool hopping with the kids and they love it. The property is kept exceptionally clean and you can’t beat the views. Like I said, we come often, and it still takes my breath away every single time.

Beds were dirty and kitchen was filthy

Our villa exceeded our expectations. Floor plan was beautifully layed out. Beds and couch were very comfy. Outside patio was a dream, even with the rain. We had a small glitch with one of the fireplace pilots going out the first night - they responded and had someone out to fix it the next day. Kitchen is well equipped with gadgets, but few pantry staples, just FYI. Location is within very close driving distance to restaurants, hikes, shopping, etc. Be sure to take advantage of the Bear Creek Trails.

I feel compelled to share my concerns for the benefit of future guests Hygiene & Cleanliness: The unit is in dire need of being taken out of rotation for a deep cleaning. Dirty pots and pans in the cupboards, unsanitary shower amenities, and closets filled with the owner's leftover belongings made for an uncomfortable stay. Bedroom biggest safety hazard is the guest bedroom's bed has a queen-sized box spring & king mattress. Sit just right & you get a free “slide”. That was someone’s conscious decision to leave the bed like that and it was terrible. The home had an unpleasant long-time smoker odor, masked with carpet cleaner. I’m happy to share photos. Great location wish they took better care of the unit. I’ve never left a bad review and we rent units all the time. Really a bummer.
