Yelm · 整套民居 · 3室3床3.0卫 · 可住6人 · Spacious, family & dog friendly garden oasis home
Dr. Brown's Garden Oasis: Nestled in a forest of cedar trees, this family-friendly home is a great place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The house and beautiful flower gardens belonged to our late father, Dr. Jerry Brown, beloved Yelm veterinarian. Our dad took great pride in the tranquility of his gardens and nature trails around the property...truly a 'Spiritual Oasis'. Wake up to singing birds, take a stroll through the yard & perimeter nature trail, or relax on the deck. Located just a few minutes from the city of Yelm, approximately 20 miles from Olympia, 60 miles from Seattle, and 50 miles to Mt. Rainier National Park. Close to the Chehalis-Western trail (former railroad, now paved trail that goes beyond Olympia). Our home is highly rated and a guest favorite! The 2,600 sq. ft. home is mainly one story with an additional living room space that is down a few stairs. INDOOR LIVING: Spacious and fully equipped kitchen features two sitting bars with all granite countertops. Small appliances include: coffee maker, coffee grinder, Vitamix blender, crock pot, juicer, toaster, and popcorn maker. Off of the kitchen there is coffee and juicing nook as well as a pantry. The open living room has high vaulted ceilings, leather reclining couches, 70" smart TV, sound bar & subwoofer, DVD/VCR, and a wood stove with a custom stone backdrop. The dining room, open to the living room and kitchen, has a table that seats 6 but can also be expanded to seat more people; additional bistro table set seats 2, while the sitting bars can seat 4 people. The additional living space/sun room features skylights, 3 sliding glass doors, radiant floor heating, multiple seating options, and musical instruments (piano, guitar, rain stick, maracas). Beautiful setting and home. Very cozy and roomy. Excellent experience. Highly recommend!!!
This was our second time staying at the property. It meets our needs very well and comfortably. Thank you Jessica for all you do.
Jessica’s home is beautiful and comfortable. Truly an oasis. The gardens are stunning and the house is gorgeous, amazing glass artwork and everything you could need. Very unique and wonderful place that felt amazing to get to stay in
This place was an absolute pleasure to stay at. It was quiet and serene and exactly what we were looking for. Jessica was an amazing host, always responsive and brought us fresh vegetables once a week in beautiful arrangements. The quiet surroundings are unmatched anywhere else and the walking trail allowed for pleasant evening strolls. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know in the area.
