I hate to write a review about the Chateau Mimosa because I want to keep it secret for myself! The house is a gem inside a beautiful area, with gorgeous lake views, and easy access to all sorts of things to do and see on the east side of Lac Memphrémagog. Jean-François is a kind and generous and thoughtful host who has thought of just about everything in and around the house that you could want or need. He’s responsive and cares about the well-being of his guests while giving everyone lots of space. (But not anround unless needed.) We stayed comfortably in the house with 5 adults and had the experience of a lifetime watching the eclipse from outside the house. We had most of our meals in and the kitchen fulfilled all of our cooking needs. Winter or summer, this place is divine.

Our stay at Le Mimosa was amazing. It is a beautiful cottage in a very nice area. Jean-Francois was very responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Mimosa in the winter, so we got to enjoy the amazing wintery view and watching the ice fishing from the comfort of the living room. The location is super close to the ski hill and close to the cute town of Masonville. The general store is within walking distance and is great. If you come in winter, the driveway isn't maintained, so you'll have to take everything up the front stairs (lake side) rather than via the regular back entrance. It's a climb, so be prepared! The house is cute and cozy. We loved the outdoor and indoor fireplaces. There is only one queen bed in the closed bedrooms. The other room has a double and then the bunkbeds. Jean-François was great. Super responsive and helpful.
