Amazing spot! Matt’s place felt like we were camping but with a big cozy bed, shower, and full kitchen. Gorgeous property and lovely view. We cooked every meal while we there and had everything we needed to do so. Unlike some Airbnb experiences, it felt like a space that was actually used and was thoughtfully put together. Our highlight was the dogs—three extremely sweet labs who helped us gather sticks to start a fire. If you’re looking for a comfortable home base for hiking etc, or just a peaceful getaway, definitely book! We hope to come back and tell our friends about this gem.

We had the best time here. So so peaceful! Definitely secluded with the best views. Matt and his family are the best. So welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend!

Great spot to unwind for a few days. Close to great hikes and awesome sights on the BRP. Can’t wait to visit the area again.

Hello! My wife Crystal and I were married in 2004 and have six kids. We serve as full time missionaries to college students. After 10 years of ministry on campus at Mississippi State University, the Lord led us to the mountains of Western North Carolina in 2018 where we lead a discipleship residency program. We have been turning our beautiful 20 acre farm into a place of rest, renewal, and discipleship and are excited to start hosting Airbnb friends in one of our timber frame cabins.
