Julley, If the idea of travel to you is more than just merely visiting a place and idling away in the quietness of nature, if travel is similar to a pilgrimage, a journey into the crevices of the mind, you're heartily invited to be a part of and blend in the authentic environment of the rural households of Ladakh and hence into wellness. Himalayan Farmstays is a community initiative working closely with the Amalayas' ( Village Mothers ) of Ladakh by setting up farmstays in part of their homes. The aim is to uplift and empower the local community by creating a model for sustainable tourism. We have several houses across villages in Ladakh that serve as farmstays that would grant you the right atmosphere as you heal your body and soul. Those who appreciate the quietude of rural settings and mountain solitude, Fiang is a south facing valley to the Ladakh range of mountains, and therefore, offers a panoramic view making the village an ideal choice for longer stays.
