Come Experience Historic Troy! Our home is nestled in the heart of downtown, just a block away from Troy’s beloved store fronts, restaurants, and frequent events. We are also directly beside the 1833 Wedding Venue! For your stay, you get our entire home & fully fenced in side yard. This makes your stay perfect for the whole family & fur babies. Our home is nestled close to the train tracks in Troy, though it is very faint when inside the home, we have provided noise machines for light sleepers. Our Historic home holds much of its original charm. Built in 1890, it still hosts its original hardwood in many of the rooms. We are happy to note a newly updated and completely renovated Kitchen, with garbage disposal and hood vent, as well as updated furnishings in the lower room of the home. The large windows throughout the home provide beautiful natural light during the day, and our window shades provide adequate privacy.

I stayed here for 7 weeks and felt right at home everyday. Hosts were always helpful, responsive and welcoming. I'm looking forward to coming back and enjoying the yard and hammock as spring temps warm up.
Great location! We came into town for a concert @ Hobart. We walked to dinner and the concert. In the morning we walked to a coffee shop and bakery! Spent the day strolling the town and supporting all the little shops and market. The house is as pictured and squeaky clean!
We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage on the Corner Lot. We needed a place to stay with our 2 small dogs while in town to visit family during the holidays, and this property was perfect for us. The Cottage has historic charm and the Owners have done a great job putting new life into an older property and making it feel welcoming. The location is an easy walk to many of Troy's downtown attractions and restaurants. The fenced side yard and back patio were great to let our dogs enjoy the outdoors and the firepit and hammock are nice amenities. The Owners have been thoughtful in providing everything needed for a great stay including baby gates for the stairs, a dog bowl station, and designated towels for muddy paws at the back door. We would definitely return.
We loved staying at this beautiful and cozy home. It’s clear lots of thought was put into this spot; lots of personal touches and amenities. Our pups loved the big side yard. We loved the comfy bed and couch. Highly recommend!
Great spot in downtown Troy! Walkable to several restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, etc. House was clean and had a great yard. Would definitely book again!

We are tucked amidst Troy's Historic District. This offers a beautiful view of Historical architecture, all while sitting in our fenced in side yard, or a casual stroll around town. We have street side parking in front of our home, often, you can simply pull into a space, however on busy weekends, you might need to parallel park.
Most everything you need, is a block or two from our front steps. Coffee is across the street, several nice restaurants, one fabulous diner, and a fun Juicery that serves healthy lunches and smoothies, is just around the corner.
Local grocery stores are a quick drive in your car, but most will deliver to our front door!
