This was the perfect escape from the world for my partner and me. The location was amazing, private with fantastic views. The property was welcoming from the outset and we settled in nicely. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Can’t say enough about our experience!

We stayed at Loft & Workroom in Woodside Bay for two months (January & February). The house is situated at the top of an unsealed Woodside Bay ridge road looking down into the bay. The area is sparsely populated, only a few neighbors within sight which we found very peaceful. We found the location to be ideal as the drive into the island’s central town of Olsted is only 10 minutes and the majority of the drive is on a beautiful road that winds through national park land. This house is all about the VIEWS, both from within the main living room and single bedroom. Lush cattle and sheep grazing hillsides are to the east, forest to the west and the bay to the south. From sunrise to sunset, light enters the house and casts moving shadows throughout the day. This house excels in the feeling of living within the views, not just looking out to the views, an important distinction for those who appreciate that type of environment . Gary & Beth USA couple

A beautiful property with incredible views. The best coffee machine!! Such a relaxing and peaceful spot. We really enjoyed our time here.

We stayed here for five weeks on a self-imposed retreat and got to know the place really well. We had a fabulous time here and highly recommend both the accommodations and the host. Woodside Bay is one of the top places on Waiheke Island to stay! It's remote, serene, bucolic. Four-legged creatures abound, and many beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It is rare to find a one-bedroom rental that has a full kitchen, a separate bedroom with its own door, and a workroom which doubled as an office and yoga/workout room for me. Even on rainy windy days that kept us inside we were not bored. Wi-Fi mostly worked well. The bed is very comfortable. The decor is perfectly imperfect. The owners have great taste, finding beauty in the old. We are smitten with this place and leaving is bittersweet. We would happily stay here again and prioritize rentals hosted by Be My Guest. We did not encounter any issues, but they were always responsive, friendly, and proactive.
