Itzhel’s place is a great deal for an affordable AirBnB close to the airport. Easy access to the bus stop and Ubers are readily available. There’s a produce and meat store as well as a bakery (cinnamon rolls to die for!) right beneath the apartment. Look for Bakery Dreams and it’s the white metal doors next to it. Several walkable stores and restaurants. Cute working-class neighborhood. I felt safe there. Nice view of the mountains! The Airbnb does not have a/c, but there is a fan and it gets very cool at night. We were very comfortable. We spent a total of 12 nights at Itzhels - it was affordable, clean, and a great location.

I was there with my 6 years old daughter and it was amazing. The place was really nice, I really felt at home and the neighborhood is so quiet besides the buses. It was fun to walk around and enjoy. My favorite part is the view from the window at night and in the morning ( it gives you the island vibe). Host was very very nice and very responsive.
