Elaine was a very helpful host, providing us with lots of information before our visit and quick communication during and after. It’s a lovely and quaint little cottage with lots of original features like exposed beams and a cute inglenook fireplace. I mentioned a few things that could be improved privately to the host. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Yew Tree Cottage. Thank you very much for letting us stay at Yew Tree Cottage.

Thank you so much Elaine for a lovely stay at the cottage! From booking to departure, communication was excellent. Little touches such as fresh eggs, homemade apple juice and a fire upon arrival really made our trip extra special. The cottage is gorgeous and cosy with plenty of character. Would highly recommend and would like to make a return visit in the future!

A very welcome fire was blazing for our arrival which made the living room cosy. The cottage had a lovely homely feel with a welcome pack a thoughtful touch. The only improvements would have been an accessible socket in the second bedroom and a mirror in the main bedroom or landing, helpful when drying hair. There was very limited clothes storage in smaller bedroom, but as we only had a short stay it wasn't an issue. Walks straight from the door were a particular highlight. Thank you Elaine for making us so welcome.

We loved our stay at YewTree Cottage! So well-located and well-equipped. Lots of interesting walks just out the door. And the gardens front and back are absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend.
