Cute clean tiny home in a bucolic setting with a nice host. A few things I would mention to a friend wanting to book this is: 1. try to arrive in day light to make settling in easier (I did appreciate the motion sensor lights around the property that were very helpful) 2. There is a $40 cleaning fee for a place you bring your own bedding, wash your own plates and take out your own garbage 3. Get instructions on how to work the bbq I couldn’t figure it out but I’m sure the host would help if you ask. 4. Both Roger’s and Bell had very spotty signal at the property 5. It’s hard to find a spot with a table and chair to sit for eating or playing games facing each other (there is a couch and a countertop like spot with benches) However, great picnic table outside with a fire pit. 6. Bring: WATER, garbage bag, dish washing sponge, extra blankets, sandales (easy for washroom runs), Oil for any cooking. PS. The host thoughtfully left us an umbrella which was very helpful

I had a lovely and peaceful stay at the tiny home! I especially enjoyed all the windows and the trails behind the home. It felt very private but Kevin was also close by if I needed anything.

This is a cute place, comfortable for 2 people. Kevin is quite quick to respond and accommodative. Location is good too with ski slopes and the Vetta spa close by. The toilet is a short walk from the room which would have been fine in summer but can be a difficult in winter. Wifi availability in the room would make the experience even better.

Truly a unique place to stay! Found the tiny home looking for somewhere to stay near Vetta spa. There are lots of hotel options in the area and this place has exactly what a hotel lacks: unique character and charm, access to outdoors, the space and tools to make your own meals, quiet and privacy. We stayed in March and would have camped if the weather was better but this offered an ideal alternative. Enjoyed a beautiful campfire under super clear skies the first night and stayed cozy inside playing board games the second rainy night. Easy 10 minutes drive to the spa, hiking trails on premise and a 10 minute drive to access a much larger trail network around Horseshoe Valley, 20 or so minutes drive into Barrie to shops and restaurants. If you want luxury, find a hotel. If you like to go off the beaten path and want an experience you’ll remember, this is a fun choice! Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this great property.

Kevin’s tiny home was a perfect weekend getaway! Especially with it being so close to the Vettä spa.
