I was in Foley for a family wedding and wanted a place just for myself to relax around a busy, but wonderful weekend. The cottage was so sweet and serene. I looked forward to returning there each evening. Lloyd and Diane were frequently outside on the property, always giving a wave or cheerful greeting.

Staying at this Airbnb was an absolute delight! The room was impeccably clean, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere that made for a truly rejuvenating stay. Lloyd & Diane ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Sitting on the porch swing with a hot cup of tea while rain hit the tin roof was the highlight of my trip. I went for my annual girl’s trip with a friend: grabbed beignet’s at The Market, shopped the Fairhope Art Show, followed by cocktails at the beach. This was the perfect home base - rural southern charm, beautiful drives to all the area has to offer, quiet and welcoming. And there’s Netflix! Most importantly to me: the bedding was comfy, breathable, warm, with plenty of squishy pillows provided. Just like I have at home! Lloyd and Diane were friendly, responsive hosts that know much about the area and take care of guests well.

This is a wonderful stay if you are traveling alone and want a one or two night, front-porch-sitting kinda weekend. Comfortable bed. Beautiful historic home and lovely yard. But if you will be busy during your stay, have to checking in late or leave early, I don’t recommend this place.
