Thanks for hosting us! Great spot near Purau beach and we enjoyed exploring it with the kids. We enjoyed getting into the kayaks with lifejackets for a paddle. Our 4 young kids 2-10yrs loved just running around the property and playing together. Lovely laden apricot tree too with delicious fruit the kids realky enjoyed! As mobile connection is limited or 3G, and the data cap at the house meant we had no wifi at all, it was not possible to do a few things for work online. We weren’t expecting that. Bring some extra hand towels for kitchen or tea towels if you think you’ll use more than 3, and face cloths if you need them. There are also three bins for you to sort out rubbish, but only discovered that on our last day after we had put our mixed rubbish into the red bin during our stay. Lovely place to enjoy family time.

This is a great property for extended family, with plenty of supplies in the kitchen for self-catering. It was sheltered from any wind off the beach, but so close. The grass patch at the front was perfect for games and hanging out, and there were two tables for outside dining. The sea kayaks was a nice touch and there were plenty of games if it was an inside game. There is no DVD player - we sourced a playstation to watch movies as there is a data cap. The tank water supply was ok but be aware the lack of dishwasher and washing machine, which may be a problem for a family stay of any length. We only had one white towel each for the week, and we had to handwash some tea towels. When we asked if we could have extras to manage, we would have been charged an additional linen fee of $250 which we feel was excessive. So bring extra linen to avoid this.

Loved our stay at Purau. Host Tracy was the best. We loved it so much, we're coming back for a few days at the end of our trip!
