Elwood is a popular bayside beach destination during summer, where the beaches are used recreationally for windsurfing, cycling, cricket and walking.
The suburb is known for its mix of Edwardian and Interwar architecture character, its beaches and its leafy streets, many of which are lined by London Plane trees.

Our townhouse is on a quiet leafy street in a highly sort after location in Elwood. There’s heaps of free parking along the entire street. You will be around the corner from the best cafes in Melbourne, a bakery and a local supermarket.
You can find the Brighton rd tram line one block up. This tram line will take you directly to Melbourne city. Ripponlea and Elsternwick stations are a quick walk away. You’ll easily be in the city within 20 minutes. Buses stop regularly on Glenhuntly rd which is a 3 minute walk away. You’ll be in the centre of St Kilda within 7 minutes.
Ormond Road is one of the main roads in Elwood and is an easy 10 minute walk away. It consists of many cafes and bars and is constantly busy with locals and visitors; which produces a great vibe.
The iconic Elwood beach is a 5 minute drive away. Elwood is a bay beach, so it is rarely rough. It's a good family vacation beach, there's lots of space to have fun. Elwood beach is popular with family groups and is regarded as being one of the best beaches on Port Phillip Bay.
