A great place to explore Mani and Lakonia from. The square, where the Tore is located, perfectly combines a quiet, comfy place with several taverns and groceries few meters away. The place is well suited to offer an easy stay for a small family and host made an extra effort, such as toys for the kids, to make our time even more enjoyable.

Amazing experience to stay in a Mani tower house. It was ancient on the outside but inside it was fully updated with upscale finishes— the soft towels and crisp sheets were even monogrammed! Great option for two people to tour the Mani area for a couple of days. Even though we never met the host she was extremely responsive when I had house questions.

Staying in such a historic building with all its eventful past was a truly special experience to us. Furthermore, the Tore di Montenegro has been very carefully restored and elegantly furnished. The restaurants situated around the village's square serve delicious Greek food - there is really no need to go to Gythio for dinner. (Unless you crave really good pasta, which would be served at O!live restaurant in Gythio, that is.) The house is also conveniently located for excursions in the area. Our favorite beach was Skoutari Beach, which is only a 20 minutes drive a way. We definitely recommend staying at Tore di Montenegro.

Die Unterkunft hat sehr viel Charme und ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren viel auf dem Balkon mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Die Lage ist ideal, in der nächsten Umgebung hat es Tavernen und einen kleinen Market und ist ruhig. Das lebendige Städtchen Gythio ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir waren zwei Wochen dort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir können es nur empfehlen.
