The host was super friendly and helpful during our stay, the house was exactly what we needed space-wise and the pool was fabulous! That said, I can't say we'd stay here again. This has nothing to do with the quality, but that it is owner (more precisely family) occupied outside of the bookings. What that meant for us was that there were household items everywhere (closets, dressers, bathroom drawers etc.) so it felt like we couldn't settle in. For a 5 night stay at the rate we paid, I expected to be able to unpack our suitcases, put clothes away/hang them up and store toiletries in a drawer but everything was already full. In some ways it was nice to have toys for our toddler, games to play and pool accessories but it also felt like I was accidentally looking through someone else's stuff when I went to open a cabinet. Overall the stay felt like I was a guest in someone's home, not neutral or a place we could make our home, so it wasn't as relaxing as we'd hoped.
