We loved the house. It was just as pictured and even better in person. It was nice and cozy. We had deer and Turkey come by daily. The house was very pet friendly and put a lot of thought towards your pets. With that said, we don’t have pets. But I could not see any signs of pet hair or odor. Kudos to the cleaning crew and owners. I loved the outdoor space and lights.

"A Perfect Retreat Surrounded by Nature" Our stay at this cabin was nothing short of magical! The highlight was undoubtedly the enchanting wildlife that surrounded us. Feeding the deer became a daily ritual, and it was an amazing, close encounter with nature. The hot tub provided a perfect escape, offering relaxation under the stars and in the snow! It was a serene experience, making our evenings truly special. The cabin itself was a haven of comfort. Impeccably clean, spacious, and adorned with beautiful decor, it felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail in the interior design added to the overall charm. (My family really enjoyed the heated toilet seats!!) We wholeheartedly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat in nature. It's an experience that will leave you refreshed, rejuvenated, and with memories to cherish.

Knotty & Nice is an absolute dream place to stay while in Ruidoso! From the upgraded amenities to the beautiful view of wildlife, this home is a “must” place to stay!

We had originally booked a room at a nearby resort, but were really disappointed once we got there. We ended up cancelling and finding this place last minute and were lucky to book it. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen to work with. We spent our days hiking around the area and coming back to a nice hot bath, and the comfort of making dinner at home. FYI, there are deer, elk, and even wild horses just roaming in this neighborhood, some on this very street. For city folk, it's amazing to see these beautiful animals. Plus, Tyler was very quick to answer any questions we had and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
