Marcela's place is a great basecamp for ski weekend in the truckee area. Our group of 4 visited a few different resorts during our 3-day stay and everything is within short driving distance. The house is also in walking distance to a grocery store which made our cooking ventures much more successful. The downtown truckee area is not far either. All in all, great location. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds. We made breakfast and dinner daily at the house and had most of the things we needed. Marcela was friendly and responsive in answering our questions throughout the stay and was a gracious host to us :) we will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great location within walking distance of a grocery store and easy drive to historic downtown Truckee and to skiing. Was a great base for a ski trip with the kids!

Great location in Truckee. Hosts responsive and friendly. If you stay during a winter storm, be prepared to shovel.

Wonderful, quiet stay. Marcela is a responsive and great host. There aren't many Airbnb hosts remaining in the Truckee area that aren't some property management company, and I sincerely appreciate the fair value, honest description, and genuinely private, nice accommodations that Marcela offers. This is a fantastic choice for 3-4 people, and the 2 bathrooms are a huge plus. The place is kept nice and toasty warm too, which is wonderful after a day out in the cold!
