We enjoyed our getaway at the barn. The remote location was the perfect escape!! We really enjoyed the fire pit in the silo.

Man, where to start!? This place was amazing. I definitely want to come back and spend more time there since we only stayed one night in the way to Snowshoe mountain for a snowboard/ Ski weekend! I'd get there earlier instead of stopping to go to a restaurant and spend more time at this amazing place. It was like a beautiful rustic bar, with a huge modern kitchen! There was so much to do! The area is super rustic and I wish I could've hung out all day outside. He took us for a ride on the property to the cave! 2 track roads so make sure you have a truck or 4x 4 vehicle capable of off roading! Craig was great and super cool. Like I said I wish we had more time to hang out there! Definitely a destination and an experience I would recommend for anyone trying to get away from the noisy city life! Check it out! Will be planning a Trip yearly! Enjoy!

Craig is a very kind host. He stayed up past midnight for our check-in so he could greet us, when our ETA was 9pm — very kind, since the initial tour was useful! I’m glad we didn’t have to check in without him. The place is even better than what the photos show: there is so much to do! Pool, movies, cozying up by the TV…it’s got everything. My wife got sick and Craig was super kind: he offered to drive into town and grab anything she needed. We did have a few issues: 1. The oven didn’t work 2. Two of the stove burners didn’t work due to broken knobs 3. The foyer smelled of gas 4. The silo had recently been exterminated and was unusable: thousands of dead flies! Unfortunately, on the second night, we noticed symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, probably from the oven or the foyer fireplace? We ended up getting a cheap nearby hotel and asking for reimbursement just for the $90 hotel, which Craig denied and we had to escalate to AirBnB Support.

We loved this barn! Craig is super friendly and loves meeting new people. I look forward to coming back when we can spend more time feeding the ducks and riding around his beautiful land.
