Es un adorable lugar para pasar tiempo en familia sin el ruido de la ciudad. La habitación es amplia y limpia. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para tener una fantástica estadía. En cuanto a su ubicación, la encuentro idónea para aquellos que quieren realizar la caminata a Chinata o ir a Gocta que fue nuestro caso. Asimismo, para aquellos que quieren continuar su viaje rumbo a Tarapoto.

Hospedarme con Bertha la repetiría muchas veces. Que sea así! Realmente es una súper anfitriona, súper atenta desde la reservación hasta el último día de mi estadía. Se ofreció a recogerme porque mi bus llegaba de madrugada y fue por mi para llevarme a su hogar. La cual era igual a las fotos, súper cómoda, rodeada de naturaleza y te dà mucha paz. La ubicación es perfecta, una casita en medio de la naturaleza y cerca a la ruta.Aquí es una zona donde pasan buses, mototaxis y colectivos que van para chachapoyas-Pedro Ruiz y viceversa. Gracias por las tacitas de café y las charlas. Nos vemos pronto. Gracias Gracias Gracias🙌🏻

My partner and I have been traveling Peru for the last 5 weeks and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. Bertha is the sweetest person and the best host. The address we were given didn’t work but she was able to pick us up from an agreed spot nearby in Pedro Ruiz. The house is beautiful and private with shared space in Bertha’s personal kitchen as well as an outdoor kitchen. There is an amazing dog on the property who expects lots of play, who we absolutely fell in love with. Theres not much to do on the property besides enjoying the jungle atmosphere and the creek a few yards away from the house, but Bertha was extremely helpful in organizing taxis to take us to our activities and into town for food. If you’re staying here you must do the 2 hour (each way) hike to Gocta Waterfall: the largest waterfall in Peru! The only complaint we had was about all the bugs that were able to get into our room: we woke up one morning the the entire floor covered in bugs.Can’t recommend more!

Very nice contact to Bertha and her energetic young dog, with whom it never gets boring. The house and beautiful garden are located in a quiet neighbourhood in Churuja, about 10 km south Pedro Ruiz, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and nature. I got some delicious fruits and coffee from the garden. The spacious and clean room is nicely furnished (big and comfortable bed), you have a private bathroom and own cooking area outside. There are some tiny shops and "restaurants" in the village, if you stay longer or need more selection I would recommend to get it from Pedro Ruiz. Bertha kindly gave me a ride as she went there. A few meters next to the house is a river to jump in and behind the village are 2 waterfalls. Gocta is just about 15 min away by bus. Absolutely recommended.

Bertha es una anfitriona increíble, y su cabaña superó nuestras expectativas. Es un lugar rodeado totalmente por la naturaleza, el sonido de la quebrada es como una terapia. Bertha nos recomendó lugares hermosos para visitar y nos conectó con personas de la zona que fueron muy amables y serviciales. Es un oasis para escapar de la rutina y recargar baterías La pequeña y cariñosa Vaya, su perrita, hace que el lugar aún más especial. Definitivamente regresaremos, lo recomendamos al 100%.
