We were two couples and two children. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the hot tub, table tennis, and firepit! Lunch at Mamas Mercantile and Eatery was FABULOUS. We also checked out the local Whitetail museum which was interesting. Shellys place was exactly as the listing described.

Amazing wildlife. Very accessible. Lots of great wildlife: cranes, eagles. Would definitely come again.

Let me just say, Wow!!! Shelly's place exceeded all of our expectations. We had such a wonderful time. The views are so beautiful of the lake. Everything you could possibly need was at your fingertips, and it was spotless. We played bags, played ping pong, grilled, the hot tub was amazing, and we sat around the fire at night just relaxing observing all the stars. I highly recommend her place if you're looking for a nice, peaceful, getaway with family and/or friends. We are already looking ahead to see when we might be able to make it back.

Wonderful place to stay, me and my husband came from a bad experience with another Airbnb and looking for somewhere else to stay we found this place and Shelly really helped us to go from a frustrated experience to the best vacation we could ask for. We wanted to leave the other place ASAP and she got extra help to clean and tidy everything for our arrival at that same day. We had the chance to talk in person and she gave us great recommendations and made us feel really welcome. The house is really private and it felt like we were immersed in nature, we saw baby deers, turkeys, bunnies and a lot of birds around there, just beautiful and peaceful I highly recommend this place.
