We got a heavily discounted (60%) last minute booking for just 4 of us. Company was very responsive, we were happy with the stay. As others have said, the couches in the livingroom are spectacularly uncomfortable, don't know if they're broken, worn out, or what but adults and children alike need to be very careful how and where they sit. Location is good at a short walk to town but be aware it's a busy road and the period correct sash windows let in a lot of noise. It is a nuisance that the hot tub can't be used after 9 but we knew that going in, so no problem. We nearly didn't book because of the sound monitoring buts it's for periods of 10 minutes sustained high volume so not a concern, perhaps different if at full occupancy but our old somewhat senile dog barking diidn't set it off. Lastly, there were some maintenance issues, they offered to come fix but I didn't want the hassle but given this and other comments it's a recurring theme of not checking/fixing between bookings.

Convenient location, size of property, hot tub, facilities in the house all good.y Could do with more utensils and items for cooking meals in, and instructions for how to use the various appliances,

Booked for a Christmas get together for 13 women. When originally booked restrictions had not been made clear, only once the “contract” came through. This put us all on edge of making too much noise that we’d be removed!! Surely a group of 14 people makes noise? Anyway we need not have worried as we got no text or visit from security. The house is in a beautiful area, at first glance beautiful but the finish is absolutely not. The house is advertised as sleeps 14 but does not seat 14. The chairs, sofas and sofa beds are very uncomfortable so much so that you can feel the bars in the furniture there is no underlay on the stairs down to the ground floor, Outside drain pipe from dishwasher doesn’t go into the gully so is running along the house and flags, the door knob on dining room door loose and the kick boards filthy. There were no bin bags or cloths left to clear up and cobwebs hanging from ceilings specifically above my head in bed. Not worth what we paid sorry, disappointing.

had a fabulous time with our friends at this great find ..the hot tub was a real treat. we were made to feel very at home and relaxed . 🤩🤩🤩
