Definitely recommend this listing if you want to get away and be greeted by some Chickens, turkeys, and cows in the driveway! The highlight of the stay was seeing all the farm animals so happy and walking around. House was very spacious and clean

The place was okay but some things made the stay frustrating. The road there was very bumpy, narrow, and dark and we weren’t even sure we were at the right house. Then, inside, all of the windows were unlocked and there was a strong sulfur smell throughout that we inquired about and then were told it was the well and there was nothing we could do about it. The bathroom did not have toiletries (the one time I don’t bring my own body wash). Second, the electrical outlets were not reliable. The one in the center of the kitchen didn’t work and neither of our phones charged fully overnight (but they charged some. Strange). Also, the kitchen really could have used a measuring cup, mixing bowl, and a rubber spatula. I definitely limped through making breakfast. Lastly, there was a farm next door and we got to wake up to a 5 AM rooster and cow going back and forth with each other. Overall, it had a creepy vibe that we couldn’t pinpoint and we weren’t sad to head out.

We loved the immersive farm experience! It was like having a petting zoo in your backyard—the cow and her calf, tiny goats, baby rabbits, etc. My favorite was the huge male turkey who leaned against my legs wanting me to pet him (I would have taken him home as a pet if I could have). When we arrived, I had been concerned that the roosters would wake us up early but we didn’t hear them at all, and we had a great night’s sleep. Even though the house is out in the country, there’s a Walmart and a grocery store within 15 minutes in case you forgot anything. The only concern I had about the stay was the road on the way in—don’t drive your nice car because the road and the driveway are rough.
