It was awesome being welcomed to Anurag’s home. It was chic and quaint, equipped with the essentials for a night over. Their lovely alpacas greet you the moment you drive in; they have the airbnb easily located through the garage door. If it matters to you, they have kitchen essentials for coffee, tea, and any small pick-ups. A dinner table space for food or board gaming when you’re done with your adventures. One massive regular bed and a couch bed in the other room. Provided with heaters if you’re not used to the cold mornings in Canada. They communicated frequently and effectively as their home has unique things to them. Understandably so, easy to work with the rules to follow. Love that they also provided a list of things to do, food options, and places to see in the space. Came for the novelty of alpacas, enjoyed the lovely home and city. Would definitely come back if Anurag would have us again ☺️

This suite had all the basic amenities but was not very aesthetically appealing and had less thoughtful touches than other similarly priced places we stayed in. No extra blankets, very cold in the suite, holes in the ceiling, very old furniture. Suite appeared slapped together with no attention to detail. One plus was that the bed was comfortable. Would not stay here again (for that price)

Such a lovely stay! And so unique with the Alpacas. They were kind enough to let us feed them in the morning. Will certainly be back.

I recently stayed at this Airbnb located close to the ferries, which was convenient, but about a 30-minute drive from town. The basement suite had several issues, including noticeable gaps and holes, as well as ants running around. The pullout couch was incredibly noisy and uncomfortable, making it challenging to enjoy watching TV. On the plus side, the king bed was comfortable. However, the kitchen was subpar, with a tiny mini fridge that could hardly hold anything, and it was impossible to regulate the temperature. Additionally, the hosts turned off the heat upstairs at 9 pm, forcing guests to rely on stand heaters that were either too hot or too cold, resulting in disrupted sleep and the need to open doors in the middle of the night. Overall, while the location was convenient, the numerous issues with the suite made for a less than satisfactory experience.
