We had a quick stay at the old house by the pond. Although it was short it was certainly notable. I appreciated both Katelin and Dmitry’s quick and attentive responses. The house was clean and well put together. The little details added by our hosts certainly made our experience memorable. Would 100% stay there again!

Exceptional hosts. They were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Convenient location to Dartmouth restaurants and ferry to Halifax. Beautiful and lovingly restored home with lovely views of a fountain in the lake. We were visiting Halifax to tour Dalhousie and the location was ideal for our purpose. Thank you!

Dmitry and Katelin’s place was beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable. We looked forward to returning from our day trips to relax at home. The kitchen in particular had amazing appliances that made preparing meals a breeze. Easy access to both downtown Halifax and downtown Dartmouth with shops close by. Wonderful place with a lovely view.

Very welcoming Hosts who made us feel right at home. We loved the front porch where we could see the colorful fountain at night. We took advantage of the walkable community and found a great lifeguarded swimming beach at Birch Cove for a morning swim. There was lots of room for our family of six and we enjoyed the welcome gift! The home is spotless with history and character and we were very comfortable while there. We were especially appreciative of the air conditioning on a hot weekend, which is not always available in other homes we have rented in the area. It is in a great location, very close to the Dartmouth ferry terminal which is an easy and affordable way to the Halifax waterfront. We have no problem recommending this property for a trip to Dartmouth and Halifax Regional Municipality and thank our wonderful hosts, Dimitry and Katelin.
