We waren voor het eerst in Santander, en de locatie van het appartement was een goede uitvalsbasis. Het is wel een hele klim de heuvel op en daarna alle trappen op naar de vijfde verdieping. Daar is het licht en schoon. Jaime ontving ons hartelijk, vertelde over de oorspronkelijke arbeiderswijk waar het appartement is gesitueerd en gaf ons ook een aantal toeristische tips. Ook fijn: de rust. Wij hebben geen geluidsoverlast ervaren.

A clean and spacious apartment that is 7min walk to the city centre with shops, bars and restaurants. 30min walk or 10min on bus to fabulous beaches. The apartment is uphill from city centre and on the fifth floor with no lift which may be an issue for some people but not for us. Good value apartment for family of 4 in August 2023. Very good host.

We had a great 4 days in Santander. The apartment is very bright, newly renovated and very close to the center. Just a 10-15 minute walk. Although had to walk up some steep hills coming back - more exercise! We had everything we could need for a short stay. A dryer for the clothes would have been a bonus as it takes a long time to dry clothes on the rack because of the humidity. There are fans in every bedroom which was very welcome as it got quite warm. We were 5 people and very comfortable in the space. Enrique was a great host. He replied immediately to all of our messages and was always very attentive. On check out, we were running late and he let us extend our check out for a couple of hours which was great.

Nuevo y luminoso piso cerca del centro. La casa es tal cual la descripción. El mobiliario es muy nuevo. Las camas son cómodas aunque las almohadas, para mi gusto, son extremadamente finas. Tienen cafetera nespreso con cápsulas, que es de agradecer, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que no hay cosas básicas; azúcar, sal, aceite, servilletas... La comunicación con Enrique fue fluida y estuvo disponible en todo momento, pues no encontrábamos el mando de la tv y aunque finalmente nos quedamos sin tv él intentó buscar una solución. Lo malo es que solo deja unas llaves lo que te obliga a estar dependiendo del grupo, en mi caso que iba con mis hijos me tenía que despertar por la noche cuando llegaban y tirarles las llaves por la ventana pq el telefonillo no funciona y cierran con llave la puerta de abajo y es un 5° sin ascensor. En definitiva, si no tienes problemas de movilidad está muy bien para pasar unos días en Santander.
