It was gorgeous and the host was responsive, and we didn’t pay as much for the space as it’s being listed at now because it was new and had zero reviews. I see it listed from $9k-$12k for the week for future stays and I don’t think that’s a fair value. It’s much smaller than it looks in the photos, and 6 of us were about as many bodies as I think it could hold. We didn’t rest much staying in the downstairs room. Overwhelming chemical smell, loud noise that vibrates the bed all night (a/c or pool unit?), every night, and no blind for privacy. There were 3 air fresheners in a tiny bedroom and it was nauseating. Not much space to store belongings and super odd choice of bulky furnishings. It’s a gorgeous setting and we loved being there, but I would be livid if I had paid $12k. Im sure these kinks will be addressed, but I would ask before booking. New listings always take time to bloom. Brigitte is very helpful and I’m sure would be happy to answer your questions about any of this.

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern eine Woche in diesem schönen Haus. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, das Haus hatte alles was man braucht und es war unserer Meinung nach das schönste Haus in der ganzen Umgebung. Es war sehr liebevoll gestaltet und wir haben es genossen mit dem Tretboot und dem Kajak zu fahren oder am Pool zu relaxen.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was really nice and quite cozy! The pool and the patio area were perfect for the kids during the day and for evening grilling! We loved using the dock and the kayaks. The water was super clear and beautiful! Brigitte was a wonderful host and was very responsive and helpful! We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing stay! 😊

Brigitte and Taylor were very helpful and responsive. And the property is lovely. The pool, outdoor seating, dock, decking, boat ramp—all are what makes this property such a special place. The house is small, which is fine and we knew it was small when we rented it. We were a bit disappointed in how the house was furnished. The big leather theatre seating eats up a lot of the living area and was situated in a long line down the center of the great room facing an enormous TV. It just didn’t have a homey feel, so we moved things around a bit to make it more cozy and comfortable. There are no closets really (only a small one in the bunk bed room) and no clothes hangers. The closet in the master is now the laundry room (weird) and the furniture in the master seemed to come from a New York loft—heavy and bejeweled—not what we expected in a FLA beach house. Lots of dark leather. But we spent most our time outdoors which we thoroughly enjoyed! Including those awesome sunrises every morning!!
