Welcome to Century House, a 1920s duplex home located in a quiet, small-town neighborhood. Appreciate 100 year old design blended with modern updates. An even shorter drive to Amish farms and fresh produce in Big Valley. Juniata River, Port Royal Speedway, hiking/biking trails, and more are waiting. We welcome you to enjoy our comfortable, quaint home. We really appreciate the character and condition of our 100 year old home and believe you will too. This is a two story, duplex home with both bedrooms and one full bath on the second floor. A formal front living room, combined kitchen/dining room, and cozy back living room are on the first floor. The second full bath is just off the back living room. Outside space includes a front porch overlooking a quiet street and neighborhood plus a very private backyard. Bedrooms Each bedroom has a queen bed (new mattress), smart TV, and individual mini-split to control room temperature. 2nd Floor Bath (full bath with tub and shower). 1st Floor Bath (no tub/shower only) Kitchen/Dining Area Fully equipped kitchen includes all the basics needed to cook a meal including toaster, blender, crock pot, hand mixer...and what kitchen would be complete without a coffee bar. Dining table seats 6 plus 2 more at our sit-up island. 2 Living Rooms Both living rooms have a fireplace but they are not functional at this time. We plan to install gas log inserts and apologize they are not quite ready. Even without flame they are a great design extra for the space. Backyard Oasis We're especially excited for you to enjoy the private (full privacy fence) backyard which includes a patio table & chairs, swing, gas fire pit, and gas grill. Bring your own mallows to roast while enjoying an evening by the fire (roasting sticks provided).
