The place was great. Very relaxing vibe. Rooms were big and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the linens were soft and comfy. The kitchen was big and open. The back patio area was nice. It's covered so you're out of the sun or rain in our case. There was also ample off street parking. We come down every year the first weekend in May. We hope that this place is available next year for us.

Unfortunately check-in did not go smoothly (we were given the wrong code to unlock the door) but after going around a bit with the owner and even feeling that we might have been at the wrong address at one point (that really was not fun) we finally got inside, and all was good.

The home was clean, and in a decent, quiet neighborhood. The backyard is a great amenity! It’s well landscaped, quiet, private, and perfect for guests with dogs. The check in process was seamless and the host was extremely helpful and responsive. The furnishings are newer, nice, and well appointed. It was also nice to have a garage for parking. Only reasons we didn’t give 5 stars were: it’s a lovely older home, but there’s a strong, deeply set in smell that is very overwhelming. Our stay was only one night so we managed, but the home could use a good odor deionization to get the strong smell out. Also the kitchen has been beautifully remodeled, as have the bathroom sinks, but the tubs/showers are originals (60s era maybe?). Not a huge issue but for the $800 nightly price we were hoping for a fully updated home. Other than that, it’s a lovely home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Andra’s house, The house was perfect for our time in Redding. Very clean and the kitchen was filled with all that you would need. Andra is a great host and very quick to respond and help if anything that comes us- which I really appreciated. I would be happy to stay another time.
