Loved Julia and Richard’s place. With 5 adults and 3 kids, the place fit us perfectly. Didn’t even need to leave to feel like a vacation. Amazing kitchen.

Had a fantastic time at this absolutely beautiful spot in the Huon Valley, enjoying the sweeping views, cozy Nordic cabin vibes, excellent kitchen, and comfortable living and bedrooms. The house easily accommodated 5 adults and a baby with space for two of us to be working some of the time. Everything was clean and tidy, house was easy to heat, lots of amenities like good kitchen equipment. Location is very easy - we did day trips to Brunie Island, MONA, and a couple of lovely bushwalks. Also nearby is a great little farm shop, some nice restaurants, and cute villages. We would highly recommend!

Idyllic views, countryside charm, loads of space and warmth throughout the house. Boasting 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms, the house was big enough to accommodate our family comfortably. It was well furnished with games (and highchairs) for younger children, DVDs to watch and multiple relaxing areas with amazing views of the valley. The kitchen was large and had a vast array of utensils and appliances, ensuring we could enjoy cooking without frustration. Being late May in Tassie, I was pleasantly surprised to see the fireplace lit for us upon arrival. The fireplace combined with the well-insulated house design kept the house at a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. Overall; the house was clean, modern and enjoyable to holiday in. The farm offers plenty of space for children to run and play, with the advantage of seeing neighbouring farm animals. Located in Glen Huon, the home is only 15minutes from the shops and offers a great base to travel and see southern Tassie.

This house was amazing!! It was big and wooden in a beautiful location. We were travelling with a couple of friends and our 2 year old and our stay was fantastic. Plenty of space and top notch amenities all round. It was cold while we were staying there so we were able to use the wood fire and the house heated up very quickly so it was nice and cosy. Good hot water in the showers, lovely big kitchen and nice to have basics like tea and coffee provided. The house is in a secluded rural location, with beautiful views around and then it was about a 15 minute drive to local town which had all the things you would need (supermarket, some restaurants, pharmacy etc). It was a great base to explore the Huon Valley - lots of wineries and farmers markets in the surrounding towns. Our toddler loved spotting the birds in the garden and the farm animals on the surrounding properties too.
