Mose messaged me asking for an ETA, noting that due to a same day check out/ check in, the housekeeper would be pressed for time. We were originally scheduled to arrive about 30 min early, but did stop off to kill time because I didn’t feel like arguing and everything was pretty booked in the area. When we arrived, we noted there was no toilet paper. Mose immediately ordered more to arrive the next day, but it wasn’t helpful that night. We went to the store and bought some. I did find the house to be very cold and empty feeling- it echos. There’s only 1 tv on the mail floor, and a set of rules that seem a touch excessive. However, two of the living room chairs were stained, and the price tag stickers were on a few of the furniture pieces. The dishwasher is missing wheels. I wished there were fans-as the upstairs area gets really hot. Finally, we were asked about the shutters- which were messed up when we arrived. Not family friendly. Lots of reminders for a 5 star review.

This house is a very nice old home in Bethesda north of NIH. We had a great time, and Mose and his family were very responsive hosts. We very much appreciate their kindness and hospitality. The location is also really convenient to almost anywhere in the DMV. You are just south of the beltway, and it's a longer drive to I270 northbound. Here are a couple of items that we think we should communicate to others: The house is right on a busy street without onstreet parking, so all the cars have to be brought onto the long, skinny driveway. We had two cars, and it was sometimes hard to arrange things, and we ended up getting good at backing into the driveway. The house was comfortable, but on the hottest days, the AC could not keep up. A second fan for upstairs would have made it better.

Charming house that is well-kept. Our family of 5 had a delightful stay! Mose is an excellent communicator!
