Typical trullo with a private pool and annex, for a relaxing vacation in a typical structure in Ostuni. Immersed in the countryside outside Ostuni, guests will find this typical local accommodation, characterized by the white color and exposed stone. The main building consists of a small living room with a double sofa futon bed (120cm), a well-equipped kitchen with a view and also fitted with a dishwasher, an oven, a toaster and a kettle. Walking further, there is the first bedroom with a queen size bed and a Tv. This part of the house is completed by a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a small laundry room. The annex consists of a second double bedroom, completely made of exposed stone, with a private bathroom with roll-in shower. At guests' disposal there are comforts such as free wi-fi, air conditioning in the two bedrooms and in the living room. Guests have access to wonderful outdoor spaces: a covered veranda with a large table for outdoor dining, a barbecue area and a private swimming pool. We also offer to our guests truly authentic experiences to live like a local. The place is stunning and in the middle of the coutryside, very chill. I highly reccomend. Beaware the doors dont have screens so watch out and keep em close for flies, mosquitos and even tiny scorpions. Its countryside after all :) I still reccomend going and worth coming back.
There were a significant amount of insects in the area of the villa. We were concerned about an infestation so we asked the host if there would be any bugs in the villa, and were assured maybe mosquitos at most. Once the room was inspected by us, there were insects everywhere. Potato bugs on the floor, earwigs crawling on the wall near the bed, and crickets hopping around. I knocked on the walls and out of the little holes in the brick, at least 3 spiders crawled out simultaneously and scurried off. We then were concerned about bedbugs and what else would come out while we were sleeping. We left to find a hotel. The host did nothing to assist us other than saying they'd clean the rooms. This is clearly a structural issue and they refused a refund. The other couple did not have the finances to leave and therefore were stuck there. They found 3 lizards crawling in their room and a number of insects. The service and property was unacceptable. And I am indifferent towards insects.
Die Unterkunft war für unsere Familie perfekt.. schöner großer Pool, toller Außenbereich.. Der Trulli war modern und gut eingerichtet.. Klimaanlage vorhanden. Die Küche hatte alles, was man braucht. sogar gekühltes Wasser stand im Kühlschrank für uns bereit. Nach zwei Tagen hatten wir Probleme, die über Chat zu unserer Zufriedenheit schnell gelöst wurden.
A great location, very peaceful, Ostuni is only a 10 minute drive away. The property has a really nice pool with a shower. Points to improve on, the beds are very basic and squeaky! the irony board is small and needs to be replaced with a larger one and a kettle would be a good addition. One of the showers needs a bit of an overhaul, a longer shower curtain and the shower tray needs to be re sealed. Overall we had a really nice 10 day holiday.
We had a wonderful stay at this house in the Ostuni countryside. It is private and peaceful with lots of entertaining space to enjoy like the pool and al fresco dining area. We enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing by the pool. We stayed for 3 nights using this as our base to explore nearby towns and beaches by car. The house is charming - a perfect mix of authentic Apulian home with renovated, modern comforts.

Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi (40 minutes) and Bari (80 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.
