- The village is only 3 miles to Gortin Glen Forest Park. The Park is made up of a network of 5 waymarked trails of varying lengths that start from the Trailhead close to the main car park. Each of the trails give the visitor the opportunity to enjoy the woodland, nestled nicely in the Sperrin Mountains.
- The Forest Park can also be explored via a five-mile scenic drive which has a number of vista parks that vehicles can pull in to enjoy the magnificent scenery.
