L'auberge de Juntaro est très cozy et la chambre était conforme aux photos de l'annonce. Climatiseur/chauffage, multiples prises, coffre-fort, accès indépendant via codes, tout est très bien pensé. Il y a bien sûr une salle de bain commune à disposition mais aussi une cuisine. Juntaro peut vous préparer un délicieux curry pour le soir et un bon petit déjeuner le matin (café, oeufs au plat, saucisses, tartines...) si vous le demandez. Notre hôte parle anglais et est parfaitement clair lors des échanges. L'emplacement de l'auberge est idéal, au cœur de Tenkawa, à proximité de l'arrêt de bus et de l'épicerie locale. C'est un point de départ parfait pour les randonnées de la région ! De plus, le logement dispose d'un petit parking, gratuit, situé à quelques dizaines de mètres. C'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour ici !

I used to hike a lot back to Taiwan and since I moved to KL last April, haven’t had a proper hiking. If you’re looking for interesting hiking and Japanese onsen culture, Tenkawa is the place! Juntaro is very helpful and friendly with politeness. We had a very nice stay in his inn where the amenities and washing/drying machines are well equipped. Although it’s a bit far from the Dorogawa town but I still highly recommend you can consider to stay in Juntaro’s place 😊🙏🏽 Thank a lot for the hospitality and kindness. We have a lot of memorable moments in Tenkawa!

It was wonderful being able to visit such a gorgeous corner of the earth. I think this option is great for budget or solo travellers as everything else in the area seemed to be quite expensive. There are beautiful hikes to do in the area and the host recommended the Mitarai waterfall hike to Dorogawa which ended up being one of the best walks I’ve ever done, with a relaxing onsen at the other end. The dinner and breakfast provided by the host are good options because there are not many groceries shops or restaurants in the area. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. There was only one bathroom between 6 people but it didn’t seem to be a problem. I do wish the kitchenette had some more utensils and bowls available but it was still useful. Overall we had a really good experience here and I would definitely visit and stay here again.
