Lovely views, cosy cottage. Nice bathroom - hot showers! Nice big kitchen. Great plug in heaters which worked surprisingly well! Lovely log fire. Great little pub 2 min walk away. Perfect for a few days ❤️
We will definitely be back again. Just as described with an amazing attentive Host, Amy. Perfect for my family and my brother's for our mini getaway. Beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets! The local pub was absolutely incredible - we went for a Sunday roast. Delicious food and decent prices. Lovely local towns; we visited Prestatyn and Rhyl. We also enjoyed a trip to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, just 30 minutes drive away. The driveway is steep, but you quickly get used to driving up there! Very easy check in and Amy always on hand for any questions. We also were treated to a lovely selection of treats and some milk to get us started when we arrived. Great cottage, comfy beds, lots of space. We'll definitely be looking forward to returning. Highly recommend.
Cwm is a small hamlet within walking distance of Dyserth which has local conveniences. The Blue Lion Inn is 2 minutes walk down the road and serves great food and drink daily 12-8pm! Within 10-15 minutes drive you have Rhuddlan, Prestatyn & Rhyl which have retail parks and large supermarkets.
Cwm is ideal for walkers but also a great base for those visiting the surrounding areas of Rhuddlan, Prestatyn & Rhyl as well having easy links to Chester & Snowdonia. We would suggest having a car when visiting is ideal, although some guests do get taxis if they're planning to stay local. Nearest train stations are Rhyl & Prestatyn (15 mins).
