The Schipper farmhouse and the loft apartment were great for our family get together! The location was just what we needed, and the historical setting made for a very interesting stay. The large front and back yards were perfect for family kickball and baseball games, and the large dining room table was great for board game time. The grandchildren and great-grands enjoyed hot chocolate and S'mores around the fire pit. They got to see several deer in the yard. The kitchen was well stocked, and the coffee cake that greeted us was delicious! Young and old alike had a wonderful time.

We stayed with our four children for two nights. The place was clean and fresh for our arrival and a homemade coffee cake was waiting for us on the table courtesy of our generous host. The property was very private and we enjoyed quiet time in the yard around a campfire. the host provided dry firewood for the campfire and we had a delightful time. We would be happy to stay in this place again if we visit Aurora in the future.

We enjoyed our stay for the week in the loft. Very clean and easy to find. Close to all the things we wanted to do. We also were grateful for the yummy coffee cake that was waiting for us when we arrived.
