I would advise booking through the Lee valley website and not Hoseasons. I had no instructions at all about where I was staying? what the gate code was? and who the point of contact was.. the peaky pods are excellent but Hoseasons are terrible!! The girls in reception were great and explained the there are communication problems with Hoseasons all the time..

My stay was very pleasant, I liked the rural location, the `pod` was clean and had all you need. I would like to thank all the camp staff as they were all very friendly and helpful. I would say the check in instructions I received from Hoseasons were not very clear. I was told check in was `after 4.00pm`. When I arrived at 7.30pm the camp office was shut. The office had closed at 5.00pm. The staff had called my mobile to check on my arrival time but I did not hear the message as I was on my flight. I resolved the situation by calling an `emergency number` listed on the site office door. It all worked out ok but my email confirmation should give clearer opening times for the site office. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay.

What a great idea Peaky Pods are! We are in our 70’s and recently sold our motorhome, so this is a brilliant substitute. The Pod was very clean and well maintained, as was the whole site. The staff were friendly and helpful. The site is very well served with public transport for getting about, particularly visiting London. We would definitely recommend it.

Lovely clean hut on the campsite. Towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits included. Microwave, stove and fridge in the mini kitchen. Spotless bathroom. No issues whatsoever, would definitely stay again.
