This was adequate for our needs. The location is very good as it is close to the centre and there are good bus links and it is within a short distance of local shops and major supermarkets. Free on street parking is a huge bonus in York, with two families each with a car we always found parking spaces. Having a downstairs walk in shower was positive. The house and garden seemed a little unloved I had to clean the kitchen sink on arrival and the window ledges in the front bedroom and sitting room were grubby also dusty skirting boards in some rooms. Some basic kitchen utensils were missing, there was no can opener and very few teaspoons, and no cafetiere. The refuse bin in the garden was very full and there were no instructions about putting it out, likewise no instructions for recycling, we brought ours home. It was just a little underwhelming.

A good stay for a few days! It would have been good to have an above-bath shower upstairs because realistically people could only shower downstairs.

Cosy, clean, well-equipped house. Good location, and near town. Parking right beside the property (street parking). Hot water is intermittent and shower drainage can be improved. Pleasant stay overall and Adriana is a great host.

Great house in perfect location, not far from city walls and bus stop pretty much right outside to get to the uni. Spotlessly clean, cosy and tastefully furnished we felt right at home straightaway. Beds were really comfortable too. Definitely recommend, thanks Adriana!
