This cozy studio cabin/tiny home is located in the beautiful Blackfoot Valley. There are so many opportunities for recreation close by with fly fishing on the famed Blackfoot river or the North Fork of the Blackfoot river, hunting, cross country skiing, snow shoeing , ice fishing at several local lakes and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex is in your backyard. If you’re traveling with livestock we have corrals available for use, and many trailheads for hunting are close by. Small studio cabin with loft, cozy decor. This is our first major construction project, and it is still a work in progress but other than some trim work and the flooring in the loft it is almost complete. It has been a fun adventure to build this little cabin and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. There is a drop down ladder for access to the loft, with room for 3 extra beds and a great place to hang out, read and play games.

Cannot recommend this place enough! Dena and Bill were amazing hosts and the cabin was exactly what we needed for our week stay with our boys. It was quiet, cozy and equiped with everything we needed. Our boys loved the animals outside and the dogs were super friendly to our golden as well. Hoping to come here again. Wonderful stay.
I have stayed in multiple vacation rentals, and Dena's is the cleanest, best kept and most well-appointed rental I have rented. Kitchen had all needed items to cook about whatever you wanted. Location is very peaceful. Dena and Bill made us feel welcome before and during our stay. She communicated clearly prior to the stay, and there were no unpleasant surprises. Dena made sure that there were plenty of supplies, towels, trash bags, etc. If you are looking for a cozy and peaceful stay, look no further. You will need to be mindful the location is fairly remote(exactly what we wanted). There are some services in town, and more services in the neighboring towns if needed. Thank you Dena and Bill!
This was the perfect place for us. We were allowed to bring our dogs and our horses! Their large yard was totally fenced for the dogs to run, and the horse area was a large pasture. They told us where to find nice trails in the area. Dena's girls, the chicks, provided a dozen fresh eggs and Dena had left lots of snacks for us also. It was nice to have a clean little place with everything you needed that was not attached to the host's home. We would defiantly like to stay here again! I am thinking springtime :)

Located within walking distance to the small rural very friendly town of Ovando. Trixi’s bar/restaurant is up the road and available if you choose not to cook, as well as The Stray Bullet in town for breakfast & lunch. The Blackfoot Commercial Company has a little of everything from groceries, beer, wine and a coffee bar, ice cream and several gift ideas. The Brand Bar museum with a lot of history of the area and The Blackfoot Angler which carries an assortment of fishing gear, bicycle parts and gifts, that finishes off our quiet little town.
Within walking distance to town, bicycles available for those wanting to ride around town. Ovando offers plenty of parking.
