2022 custom built rustic but not primitive cabin 2 hrs south of St Louis near Wappapello Lake. Yes it has indoor plumbing & running water. Accommodates two adults, has a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast items are provided for you to cook. Surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest. Observe wildlife sightings from the deck while soaking in the hot tub, sleep comfortably in a queen size pillowtop Serta bed on a Motion Air base, and relax as you enjoy the ambience of the fireplace. Much thought and preparation was given in the design for accommodating 2 adults, it is not suitable for children. The cabin is an open 16x20 room with vaulted ceiling. The bathroom is private with a sliding door, the toilet resembles an outhouse but fully modern in function and indoor plumbing. The front porch is covered and has a comfy outdoor couch. The back deck is screened in and has no exterior entrance for safety and security. This is one of two cabins we have on our property for guests to book. I’m so thankful we found this little gem! We celebrated our 10th anniversary here so we mostly stayed in. The pictures don’t do the place justice. My favorite place to be was on the back, screened-in deck-the hot tub, the view, and the peaceful nature sounds made this the perfect area to unwind your mind, body, and soul. ❤️ thank you for sharing this space with us!
We really loved the treehouse. Back in the middle of the woods, and absolute peace and quiet. We loved going out in the evening and relaxing in the hot tub on the back porch. If you love to camp, this is just a little fancier version.
This was absolutely 100% what we were looking for!! It was so cute and comfortable for a romantic getaway! definitely recommend!

This place is stunning! Really nice space, well designed and appointed, and beautiful, secluded surroundings. You don't often get either of those things, let alone both in one location. The amenities are also incredible for such a private, rural location. Comfortable bed, shower and outdoor spaces, full kitchen with everything you need and a great balcony and hot tub. A perfect place to unwind for a while or to rest on a stopover on your way to further distances. Definitely will add to my list of places to revisit!

The cabin is surrounded by trees, the county road winds on top of a ridge to our driveway which is magical with the trees forming a tunnel to drive through. We have one other guest cabin across the hill and our cabin is located at the end of the driveway.
***NOTE***we are no where near Kansas City Mo. Somehow when using Apple Maps in that area it directs to a township named Greenville. There is only one city/town in Missouri with zip code 63944, we are located in Southeast MO 2 hours due south of St Louis and near Wappapello Lake.
Guests may bring a bike, atv or UTV for riding on the long driveway and county road. There is a public access boat ramp at the end of our county road on past our driveway. There are several service roads off the county road that guests can ride down and explore nature.
