Scone · 整套别墅 · 5室6床3.0卫 · 可住12人 · The Bank On Kelly Hygge Villa, Scone
Unique, luxurious, Villa-Style accommodation in an eclectic, cosy and discreet place where you can just be you. Family, Pet, Corporate and LGBTQ friendly, we accommodate individuals, large groups and families alike. Here you can enjoy more space than a traditional hotel room, with all the comforts of home. Located in North-west New South Wales, The Bank on Kelly Hygge Villa resides in the centre of Scone, ‘Horse Capital of Australia’, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Upper Hunter Valley. Sleeping up to 12 adults, we offer 6 beds in 5 separate upstairs bedrooms, each with its own door lock for individual privacy, if desired. [NB: Please be aware that this is a central CBD location and the Scone main street beautification project is presently underway. This is something that is completely out of our control and there may be construction noise close-by throughout your stay with us. We apologise in advance. Many local businesses are feeling the effects of this, and we ask that you consider continuing to support our beautiful little town throughout this short but disruptive period! There is rarely night construction - and we do provide ample earplugs in each bedside drawer in case needed!] The property has separate, kitchen, loungeroom and living spaces for you to enjoy with that special someone, group of friends or the whole family. More guests can be accommodated, on request, if needed. Designed for living, not just sleeping, all our bedrooms are located on the top floor and feature either King, Queen or Double beds, bedside tables with reading lamps and all rooms bar one (Queen Twin) have enclosed veranda access with garden or street views and seating. Clothing racks are provided for you to stow your items and hang your garments (master suite contains built in wardrobe). 2000 thread Egyptian cotton linen provided, pillows, additional blankets. Hygge Villa has a fully functional and fully equipped kitchen, including oven, gas stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. Fully kitted out with utensils, cooking utensils, pots pans, the works! Tea, coffee, milk, bread and breakfast cereal provided. Make yourself at home! Dining settings for 15 people. Dining table seats 8, as does the outdoor dining area. Child friendly, melamine dinner ware available for the little ones. We have a full-sized internal laundry, with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, and ample storage with a large sink and washing detergent provided, allowing fast, no fee, hassle-free washing options to suit all of our guests. Local Laundrette also available. One bathroom downstairs with shower and toilet. Two bathrooms upstairs, both with shower and bathtub (yes, we have two bathtubs!). Upper landing bathroom has separate toilet. Personal towels, washer, hand towel and bathmat provided. Individually packaged soap, shampoo and conditioner provided, in addition to pump hand soap, body wash and large bottle shampoo and conditioner options. (We know what it is like to have long hair!) Pet towels and pet shampoo also provided.
Really gorgeous historical building right in the centre of town. 5 massive bedrooms and large bathrooms. Lovely lounge room and kitchen and every amenity you could need. The communication from the hosts was amazing. The only thing that would have been nice was if we were warned about the construction going on in the Main Street right outside the accomodation. It was a bit annoying being woken up at 7am by the loud work but understand this would also be frustrating for the hosts, as it’s out of their control
Everything you need within walking distance – and beyond!
Fine dining is but two minutes’ walk (less!) at The Cottage, with food for the more refined palette, featuring high end dining and a full bar and barista. Asser House cafe is also along here, a few doors down from The Bookshop (an actual bookshop, not a café! – and a lovely one too, for the booklovers!).
For the fitness buffs, Anytime Fitness is directly across the road on the corner (or you can watch others do a work-out for you from the upstairs balcony, while you drink wine!).
Speaking of wine, there is a drive through Bottlo within walking distance (literally right across the street behind the camera shop on the corner) with an electric vehicle charging station in the carpark.
Beside the camera store is another little café and if you keep walking you will find the local Newsagent – but be prepared – it is a Tardis and a gift shoppers delight – you will not believe the treasures you will find in there!
The local swimming pool is 10 mins walk away and it’s a ½ hour drive to Muswellbrook Aquatic Centre, with Sauna, Spa, Heated and Olympic length pools.
WHERE TO FIND WHAT TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR STAY…
Centrally located in the main street of Scone, tucked discreetly away from the general hustle & bustle of the quaint little town, The Bank on Kelly is but a hop, skip and jump to everything you need!
There are pubs on almost every corner of the main street, both left and right, talk a walk, do a pub crawl, you will find them!
For those of you who love a quick take-away, Dominoes and Subway are right across the street. Chinese Takeaway (and Thai Massage!) is down the street to the right.
Coles is a three-minute walk away, with a butcher, craft shop and Lebanese Takeaway in-situ. Woolworths is one street up – turn left at the roundabout - you will see a Nursery café to your left, along the way!
Walk, ride or scooter past Coles, down over the railway line and head straight on for a few blocks and you will encounter White Park on your left (featuring a large undercover horse arena, stables and dressage areas.) A little further down is Bill Rose Park – a great place for the kids and big kids (two and four-legged - it’s pet friendly!) with an excellent walking path, large sports fields, bubbler, picnic seating, play equipment and open area gym equipment. Take the basketball, footy and soccer ball with you and pack a picnic!
There’s also a skate park for the tweenies, McDonalds, three fuel stations and Information Centre nearby.
Airport - 4.6 kms (Warbird Museum)
Train Station - 10 mins walk from the residence
Upper Hunter Rideshare - available all hours.
Free parking on premises carpark (5 parking spaces) and in main and side streets.
