Lovely relaxed weekend away

it was such a lovely setting. sadly our trip was a one night whistlestop as we flew from one side of the country to the other . if we were in the area again we would definitely seek it out. even thiough we arrived late and left early, the luxury and presentation of the surroundings really helped us relax and enjoy the overall trip. it had character and charm, and Fiona was great at checking out of we were on our way/had arrived okay and found everything. thank you

We have just come back from a lovely stay at the Owl House. Prior to arriving we made the owners aware it was for our wedding anniversary in which we had a Christmas theme. We asked if the odd decoration could be put up for our arrival. When we arrived they had put up more Christmas decorations than we expected. We even got an outdoor Christmas tree with pretty lights by the hot tub. We really loved the decorations they had put up as made us feel really christmassy and reminiss about our wedding. We got to meet Tony, his daughter and their 2 dogs. The Spaniel loves abit of fuss and was a pleasure having him greet us. Tony is very informative and was happy to help with any queries The cottage was beautiful and really clean. The grounds were really pretty and we enjoyed a walk around the pond early morning looking at all the beautiful birds. Hot tub was a decent size and hot on arrival. Plenty of walks locally too. Had a lovely stay and would highly recommend :)

Fiona gave us great recommendations for lunch and had the place absolutely pristine for our arrival, even down to fresh pastries! Beautiful place and lovely dog too :)

what can I say, we didn't want to leave. so beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. couldn't fault a thing. fiona and her husband and all 3 dogs were very friendly and approachable. we would highly recommend to anyone. we certainly would love to go back x
