Craig and Mercedes’ place is absolutely wonderful, and easily the best spot I’ve stayed in Big Bear! First of all, I love that it’s owned and managed by actual people, not a management company as so much of Big Bear is. AirBnB to me has always been about quality hosts which Craig and Mercedes clearly are. You can tell they keep this home in fantastic shape as everything is clean and in great condition. Nothing feels “dated” or “worn out” which can be the case sometimes. The kitchen is completely stocked with cookware (we made cookies!) and quality appliances. The master bedroom is super cozy and comfortable… and while we did not sleep in the other bedroom it looked great, too! Both bathrooms were spotless and the shower was hot with great pressure. Perfect location for skiing and the wonder Big Bear Zoo is walking distance. Close to Starbucks and both grocery stores. This will be where my family and I stay every time we come up if it’s available. 5 Stars across the board!

The house was everything we expected and had everything we needed. it was in a great location very clean and accommodating. The only issue was we couldn’t get the heat warm enough even with support from the owners. Only a problem because we had the babies with us.

This home was absolutely beautiful! This was our first family trip with our son, the home was pristine. Everything was exactly like the photos, beautifully located area, stocked well, and felt very clean. The host was very accommodating and checked in to see if we needed any help. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a lovely relaxing stay, and would love to book again!

This was the perfect cabin at an amazing price. The host was very communicative from the moment I booked until I checked out of the cabin. The cabin was clean and looked exactly like the photos, it’s also a plus that the location is within minutes of restaurants, nearby shops and walking distance to the big bear zoo. 10 out of 10 experience. Super cozy, clean, large bedrooms, amazing kitchen/appliances, and literally 5 minute walk to the shuttle for the mountain. Craig and Mercedes were wonderful. Cant wait to be back!!
