Joy was very friendly and helpful and always gave clear instructions. She met us on arrival - as did Wren, the friendly dog - and had left us some scones with butter and jam. It's a newish cottage with kitchen, dining and lounge area downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom, with toilet, upstairs. There's not a lot of room upstairs so we left our suitcases in the spacious downstairs area. It worked very well. The bed was very comfy. The cottage was as described with washing machine (easy to use), oven, fridge, microwave, table and four chairs, lounge couch and chair, woodburner and large tv. Joy's garden is also worth a look. Plus there's a table and chairs outside if the weather is good. The Cock Inn just up the road is worth a visit. Recommended.

Was better than we expected, really lovely spot to relax in. Lovely garden right outside the door that backed onto fields. Joy was very helpful, and the scones on arrival set the theme for the few days we had there. Will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed the welcome and lovely homemade scones. The house was as described and suited us very well for a quiet few days away. The weather wasn’t great so we missed out on enjoying the garden and local walks, but made good use of the log burner!
